Backup Exec Simplified Disaster Recovery (SDR) is supported for Windows systems configured with storage pools and spaces.
During the recovery, you may see the following alerts:
Alert 1:
To reconfigure storage pools and storage spaces or to remove them, click Powershell or click Next.
It is recommended to use the ADK version released along with the operating system that you are trying to recover. If the ADK is not compatible, the storage spaces volumes on the target disk may not be detected.

Alert 2:
This Simplified Disaster Recovery Disk was created using the Microsoft Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) version that is not compatible with the Windows version on the system that you have selected for restore.
If you do not need to create volumes on storage pools and spaces, you can use this disk to recover this server.
If you need to create volumes on storage pools and spaces, use the Create Simplified Disaster Recovery Disk Wizard to customize an SDR disk with the recommended ADK version. Refer link for more info: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100050468
To continue with the recovery process, click OK and then click Next on the Recover This Computer Wizard.
To be able to recover systems with storage pools and spaces it is required that the SDR disk is prepared after installing the ADK version that is compatible with the Windows version of the server being recovered.
