問題

Backup Exec Remote Agent for Linux (RALUS) のインストールが root ユーザーではないというエラーで停止します。

エラーメッセージ

原因

ホスト名の名前解決ができない場合に、rsh の接続エラーや、容量確認のエラーを報告した後に、root ユーザーではないというエラーでインストールが停止します。

解決策

/etc/hosts ファイルに該当サーバーのホスト名と IP アドレスを登録後に、ping で名前解決ができることを確認し、この状態で再度インストールを実行します。

注：/etc/hosts ファイルに登録する IP アドレスは、実際に使用されている IP アドレスの他、ループバックアドレス 127.0.0.1 も指定可能です。
