Issues in exporting audit events when the External Credential Management System (ECMS) or Protection Plan audit category is selected

On the NetBackup web UI, if you select External CMS server or Protection Plan as an individual audit category when you export audit events to system logs, incorrect entries are added in the NetBackup configuration file. If the SYSLOG_AUDIT_USE_OCSF_FORMAT configuration option is enabled to export the audit events to system logs in the OCSF format, filtering of the audit categories can fail because of the wrong entries in the configuration file. As a result, the /security/auditlogs API fails and audit records are not sent to the system logs.

Workaround:

Select all audit categories while you export the audit records to the system logs.
