Create Sandbox - Choose Database
Select the copy of the database that you want to use in your sandbox.
By default, Velocity selects the most recent copy of the database that you selected. However, you can browse for older database copies. The date of the selected database copy is circled and highlighted on the calendar.

Item | Description |
---|---|
Source | Displays the source databases from which you can choose a copy for your sandbox. Click the down arrow next to a database name to select the latest copy, or to select a date for a copy. |
Hostname | Displays the IP address or hostname of the server on which the database is located. To list the hostnames alphabetically, click the filter icon. |
Database Type | Displays the type of database, such as Oracle or SQL Server. |
Date | Displays the local time and date of the most recent copy of this database. |
Time | Displays the local time and date of the database copy that you selected. |
Copy Preparation Date | Displays the date and time that a copy of the database copy with prepared data was created. |
Copy Size | Displays the size of the database at the time of ingest. |
More Copies | Displays the times and sizes of additional database copies that are available for the date that you selected. |
