Deleting the retention date for a database copy

You can delete the retention date for a database copy if you want to keep the database copy. The database copy does not expire. The database copy is retained until you manually delete it from the Velocity Storage Server.

To delete the retention date for a database copy

  1. From the Velocity Cloud Console, in the left pane, click Database Sources.
  2. Select the row that the database appears on, and then click Details.
  3. Click Copies.
  4. Select the row that the database copy appears on, click More, and then select Retention.
  5. Click Delete Retention.
  6. Click Delete to confirm that you want to delete the retention date.
