Firewall and network ports requirements

If a firewall is configured, then ensure that the firewall settings allow access to the services and ports used by NetBackup Flex Scale. Enable both inbound and outbound communication for these ports and services.

The following table lists the ports and services that must be accessible:

Client connections

Ports used for each Primary-Secondary connection for data replication between the Primary and the Secondary. One data port is required on each host.

These are short-lived ports assigned automatically by OS for client side socket connections in client-server communication.
