About the retention command

The retention command lets you manage image retention.

The following table describes the options and arguments for the retention command.

Argument

policy

The backup policy to use for the image retention with a retention lock.

list

List the images that have a retention lock.

audit

Display the audit information for the images with a retention lock.

disable

Disable the image retention using the backup ID of the image.
