End of Support for NetBackup 5220 Appliance
The availability of the Veritas NetBackup 5220 Appliance and all of its SKU offerings ends August 5, 2018. In addition, the support for the Veritas 5220 appliance ends August 14, 2018. The End-of-support-life (ESOL) includes maintenance packs and software updates for each software versions, in all released languages. Technical support for customers with current maintenance/support remains available until August 14, 2018.
If you have a Veritas 5220 appliance and you want to preserve and continue to use the data stored on it, you can use the Veritas NetBackup Appliance Refresh Kit to migrate the data from a 5220 appliance to 5240 appliance.
