About Box File Archiving
The Box File Archiving service is an add-on feature that lets your organization archive files from Box accounts that are provisioned with an archive account in Enterprise Vault.cloud.
Once you have configured the service, it begins to map Box user accounts to their corresponding Enterprise Vault.cloud archive accounts. For the mapping to succeed, the primary email address of the archive account must match the email address of the Box user account. For successfully mapped Box accounts that you enable for archiving, an archival agent collects the files and sends them to Enterprise Vault.cloud as message attachments.
Table: File extensions that Box File Archiving collects by default lists the extensions of the files that Box File Archiving collects by default. You can specify additional file extensions if you want.
