VIRTUALIZATION_HOSTS_SECURE_CONNECT_ENABLED for servers and clients
The VIRTUALIZATION_HOSTS_SECURE_CONNECT_ENABLED option enables the validation of virtualization server certificates using its root or intermediate certificate authority (CA) certificates.
Table: VIRTUALIZATION_HOSTS_SECURE_CONNECT_ENABLED information
Usage | Description |
---|---|
Where to use | On NetBackup master server or all access hosts. |
How to use | Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option. For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide. By default, the VIRTUALIZATION_HOSTS_SECURE_CONNECT_ENABLED is set to UNDEFINED, but the security certificate validation is enabled for RHV and Nutanix AHV servers and disabled for VMware servers.
