Microsoft SQL Server
Note:
Enterprise Vault supports SQL databases only at their default compatibility levels. For more information about SQL database compatibility levels, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb510680.aspx.
Enterprise Vault 12.4.1 and later support the TLS 1.2 protocol for communication between the Enterprise Vault components and the SQL server. For details, refer to https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/article.100044977.
It is recommended to enable Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) to encrypt all the data that is stored within a database's physical files and also any backup files. For details, refer to https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/article.100044812.
