Recovering a MongoDB database using the command line

Use the bprestore command to recover a MongoDB database.

Use these steps from the command line interface to recover a MongoDB database:

  1. Create or modify the rename file if you want to recover the MongoDB database to an alternate location

  2. Use the command line to recover the MongoDB database.
