Sample configuration II
In the following configuration the IIS Web site is located in a shared disk group, which is configured using the VMDg resource type.
A MountV resource configures a drive letter for the shared disk group. The virtual name and IP address for the IIS resource are configured using the Lanman and IP resource types respectively. The application pools associated with the Web site are configured as separate resources of type IIS.
Note:
In case of a NetApp storage environment, the NetApp Filer and NetApp SnapDrive agents are used instead of the VMDg and MountV agents respectively.
