Cloud policy
Capacity licensing for all supported CloudPoint plug-ins is specific to the Cloud policy type.
The Client Name column in the itemization sheet of the licensing report displays the backup host selected at the time of backup. If you back up an application or a volume then the Client Name column shows the host name on which the application resides or the volume is mounted.
The Policy Name column in the itemization sheet of the licensing report displays the policy name in the Policy Name+<id> format.
Usage is calculated based on disk size.
Usage is calculated based on the accurate snapshot size.
NbDeployutil Capacity Report might report the total volume size as the snapshot size instead of the actual used size, if the CloudPoint host does not have the required permissions to read the accurate snapshot size.
See Troubleshooting failures for usage reporting and incremental reporting.
For information about the required permissions, refer to the NetBackup CloudPoint Install and Upgrade Guide.
The entries in the report are based on each asset selected for backup.
After the nbdeployutil utility runs using the capacity licensing option, the report displays the policy type in the Itemization sheet as follows:
Cloud:aws
Cloud:azure
Cloud:gcp
Cloud:azurestack
