Unable to select the Deduplication option

To create a CloudCatalyst storage server, the Enable NetBackup CloudCatalyst option must be selected in the Cloud Storage Server Configuration Wizard. Also, a directory must be indicated as the Local cache directory.

These options are grayed out if any of the following cases are true:

  • The selected media server does not have NetBackup 8.1 or later installed.

  • CloudCatalyst does not support the media server operating system.

  • CloudCatalyst does not support the cloud vendor.
