NetBackup introduces a new BigData policy type
Starting with the 8.1 version, NetBackup introduces a new policy type called BigData. The BigData polity type lets you back up big data applications like Hadoop and hyper converged systems like Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV).
You need the appropriate NetBackup license to use the BigData policy type:
To granularly back up and recover a Hadoop file system, you need the Application and Database license pack.
To back up and recover Nutanix AHV virtual machines, you need the Enterprise Client license.
