Configuring lifecycle parameters on the NetBackup Virtual Appliance

You can set the lifecycle parameters using the Settings > LifeCycle commands from the NetBackup Virtual Appliance Shell Menu.

To configure lifecycle parameters

  1. Log on to the shell menu.
  2. Navigate to the Settings > Lifecycle view. Type the command to specify which lifecycle parameter you want to tune, the parameter value, and the unit, if applicable.

    For example, to configure the lifecycle parameter CLEANUP_SESSION_INTERVAL, type the following command:

    Tune CLEANUP_SESSION_INTERVAL <Interval> <Unit>
