Hardware requirements for the nodes
The following table summarizes the hardware requirements for each node.

Item | Requirements |
---|---|
Network interface card (NIC) | At least four NICs are required for each node. Two NICs connected to a private network.
Connect two public NICs from each node to the public network. The gateway must be reachable to each public NIC. |
IP address | For a two-node cluster, make sure that you have nine IP addresses available.
Make sure that these nine IP addresses are different from the IP addresses that are already assigned to the target cluster nodes to install Veritas Access over Secure Shell (ssh). |
