Remove a Security Admin user
You must be a Security Admin for the team.
At least one additional Security Admin must exist to review the request.
The team must not have an active pending secure quorum request, otherwise this action may be blocked.
Removing the user must not violate the minimum Security Admin requirement for the team.
Steps
- Go to Team Management.
- Select the required team.
- In the members list, locate the user.
- Select the option to Remove member.
- Confirm the action.
The system does not remove the user immediately.
A request is created to revoke the Security Admin privilege.
The request is assigned a Pending Approval state.
Another Security Admin must review and approve the request.
After approval:
The Security Admin privilege is revoked.
The user is then removed from the team.
If the request is approved, the user is removed from the team.
If the request is rejected, no changes are made.
If the request expires, the user remains unchanged and a new request must be created.
The user removal depends on successful approval of the privilege revocation request.
If removing the user would violate the minimum Security Admin requirement, the action may be blocked.
If there is an active secure quorum request, this action may be blocked.
OTP verification may be required to submit the request.
