Delays in completion of backup jobs

Sometimes you may see a NetBackup for Sybase backup job complete the data transfer but appear to hang before the job completes. The delay may be due to one of the following:

  • Network issues

  • Storage transfer delays

  • NetBackup server post-backup processing
