Snapshot

Instant Recovery

Makes the backups available for recovery from snapshot.

Off-host backup

Shifts the burden of backup processing onto a separate backup agent, reducing the backup effect on the client's computing resources. The backup agent sends the client's data to the storage device.

Includes alternate the client, data mover, and virtual machine host (for VMware).

NetBackup for VMware

Backs up and restores Windows and Linux VMware virtual machines (guest operating systems).

NAS snapshot

Makes snapshot-based backup of data on a Network Attached Storage (NAS) host.

Block level incremental backup (BLIB)
