Get-EVTaskState

Gets the current state of the specified Enterprise Vault task.

Get-EVTaskState is provided by the snap-in Symantec.EnterpriseVault.PowerShell.Monitoring.dll.

Syntax

Get-EVTaskState [-TaskEntryID] <String> [<CommonParameters>]

Description

-TaskEntryID

The TaskEntryID of the task whose details you require. You can use the Get-EVTask cmdlet to get the TaskEntryID.

Examples

  • Get-EVTask | foreach{$_.EntryID;Get-EVTaskState $_.EntryID}

    Uses Get-EVTask to get the TaskEntryID of each task on the current Enterprise Vault
