Ability to map and unmap remote disks
Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager 7.1 lets you map a disk from a remote node in a cluster to a local node. You can use the mapped disk like other local storage on the node. You can also use the Management Server console to unmap the remote disk.
In the Management Server Console, you can view the mapped disk like other disks in the local storage list of the node. You can map a disk to multiple remote nodes. Mapping of disks is not persistent across cluster reboots. Mapping of disk groups is not supported the Management Server console. You can map disk groups from the command line. For details, see Storage Foundation Administrator's Guide.
