Enabling and disabling the Enterprise Vault Analytics Connector

To enable an Analytics Connector instance

  1. Check that the configuration file, EVCache$\CrawlerPlugins\CrawlerPlugInsSettings.xml exists, and contains a valid <plugin> element for the connector instance.
  2. Check that the archives that are specified in the <plugin> element exist.
  3. Restart the Storage service on each Enterprise Vault server.

    The Analytics Connector starts to create files in the connector output folder when Enterprise Vault indexes items in the targeted archives.

To disable an Analytics Connector instance

  1. Remove the appropriate <plugin></plugin> element from the configuration file, EVCache$\CrawlerPlugins\CrawlerPlugInsSettings.xml.
  2. Restart the Storage service on each Enterprise Vault server.
