Edit or delete a protection plan
Edit a protection plan
You can make changes to the Description and the Storage options in a protection plan.
Note:
You cannot edit the Schedules, Protected assets, or Advanced options after a protection plan is created. If you want to use different protection settings, you must create a new protection plan.
To edit a protection plan
- On the left, click Protection > Protection plans.
- Click on the protection plan name that you want to edit.
- Click Edit description to edit the description.
- (Optional) In the Storage options section, click Edit to change the storage options.
Delete a protection plan
You cannot delete a protection plan unless all assets have been removed from the protection plan. If you want to maintain protection on the assets, you must move them to another protection plan before you delete the current protection plan.
To delete a protection plan
- On the left, click Protection > Protection plans.
- Select the check box next to the protection plan name.
- On the top right, click Delete. Then click Yes.
