Name
nbfirescan — scan for SCSI disk devices and print out report
SYNOPSIS
On UNIX systems, the directory path to this command is /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/
On Windows systems, the directory path to this command is install_path\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VxFI\4\Bin\
DESCRIPTION
The Frozen Image Rescan (nbfirescan) utility scans for SCSI disk devices and prints what it finds. It is available on all media servers and is used to triage import problems.
Before you run the command, add the NetBackup bin
directory in the PATH statement. For example, setx path "%path%;C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin"
for Windows or export PATH=$PATH:/usr/openv/netbackup/bin
for UNIX or Linux.
Only authorized users can run this command.
