Changing the browsing timeout for virtual machine discovery
This topic applies to NetBackup for VMware.
When browsing for virtual machines in the Browse for Virtual Machines dialog, the browsing timeout value may need to be increased.
To change the browsing timeout value
- On the host that runs the NetBackup Administration Console, open the following file:
/usr/openv/java/nbj.conf
- Change the value of the
NBJAVA_CORBA_DEFAULT_TIMEOUT
parameter.By default, this parameter is set to 60 seconds:
NBJAVA_CORBA_DEFAULT_TIMEOUT=60
Increase the value to a higher number.
