Removing NetBackup LiveUpdate from Windows systems
NetBackup LiveUpdate and Veritas LiveUpdate share the same LiveUpdate agent. When you remove LiveUpdate, you can no longer distribute NetBackup updates automatically or other Veritas product updates.
Before you remove LiveUpdate, make sure that no other installed Veritas products use LiveUpdate.
Use the following procedure to remove LiveUpdate files on Windows systems.
To remove NetBackup LiveUpdate on Windows systems
- Select Start > Control Panel.
- On the Control Panel window, select the appropriate utility for installed programs and applications.
- Click on LiveUpdate and select Remove.
