How the installation script works
When you install NetBackup server software, client software is also installed.
When you install NetBackup 10.4, the following options are also installed if the platform supports them:
BMR Primary Server
NDMP
Veritas Product Authentication and Authorization (NetBackup Access Control)
Vault
BMR Boot Server
DB2
Encryption
Informix
VxUpdate agent
Lotus Notes
Oracle
SAP
Snapshot Client
Sybase
Each option must also be configured as needed.
In addition to server software and options, the installation script performs the following tasks:
