Configuring the Personal.cloud deployment options
If you chose on the User Management page to manage account provisioning with the console application or Microsoft Office 365, you can specify the Personal.cloud deployment options on the Provisioning page.
To configure the Personal.cloud deployment provisioning options
- In the left navigation pane of Archive Administration, under My Config, click Provisioning.
- Expand Personal Archive Deployment Options, near the bottom of the page.
- If you chose not to provision accounts with Microsoft Office 365, go directly to step 5.
- Under Web Folder Configuration, you can specify the details of a Personal.cloud web folder that can be deployed to Office 365 Outlook. A Personal.cloud web folder lets users access their Personal.cloud archive directly from within Outlook.
Note:
Users cannot access a Personal.cloud web folder from the Office 365 Outlook Web App (OWA). Microsoft currently does not support the Outlook feature to show a home page by default for a folder in Office 365 OWA.
Configure the Personal.cloud web folder options you require:
Deploy Web Folder to Office 365
Select this option if you want Office 365 Sync to deploy a Personal.cloud web folder when it provisions an archive account.
Note:
To deploy a Personal.cloud web folder for the accounts that Office 365 Sync has already synchronized you must perform a Run Now synchronization. Alternatively you can deploy Personal.cloud web folders manually from Account Management.
See Deploying users.
Archive Folder Name
Enter the name to use for the Personal.cloud web folder, such as Personal Archive.
Archive Folder URL
Enter your access URL for Personal.cloud.
- Under Personal Archive Access, configure whether Enterprise Vault.cloud automatically enables access to Personal.cloud and sends a welcome message email to each user.
Note:
The options you see depend on whether single sign-on authentication is configured for your company in Enterprise Vault.cloud. The different options reflect the fact that a welcome message is not essential for users with single sign-on authentication.
If single sign-on authentication is not configured for your company in Enterprise Vault.cloud, the options are as follows:
Enable Personal Archive access and send Welcome Message
Select this option to enable Personal.cloud access to each account that is provisioned, and to enable welcome messages to be sent to the provisioned users.
By default this option is not selected.
If you select this option you must select one of the following sub-options:
Don't send Welcome Message if already sent.
Select this option to send a welcome message to a provisioned user only once. This is the default option.
Send Welcome Message anyway.
Select this option to send a welcome message every time that Office 365 Sync synchronizes the account, even if a welcome message was sent previously.
If single sign-on authentication is configured for your company in Enterprise Vault.cloud, the options are as follows:
Enable Personal Archive access
Select this option to enable Personal.cloud access to each account that is provisioned.
By default this option is not selected.
If you select this option you can choose whether Enterprise Vault.cloud sends welcome messages to provisioned users:
Send Welcome Message
Select this option to enable welcome messages to be sent to the provisioned users.
By default this option is not selected for new configurations.
If you select this option you must select one of the following sub-options:
Don't send Welcome Message if already sent.
Select this option to send a welcome message to a provisioned user only once. This is the default option.
Send Welcome Message anyway.
Select this option to send a welcome message every time that Office 365 Sync synchronizes an account, even if a welcome message was sent previously.
- Under Welcome Message Template, complete the details of the templates for the following messages:
The welcome message that can be sent to provisioned users.
The notification message that is sent to the chosen administrator roles when Enterprise Vault.cloud provisions new archive accounts.
Select Template
Select Account to configure the welcome message template for provisioned users.
Select Administrator to configure the administrators' notification message.
From
Enter the sender email address for the message.
Subject
Enter the information you want saved as the subject for the message email.
Body
Edit the body text for the message.
You can use the following macros that Enterprise Vault.cloud replaces with the relevant information, based on archive information:
{username} - automatically enters the user's login user name
{password} - automatically enters the user's login password
{accountlist} - automatically enters a list of newly created email accounts, for use with the Administrator template only
- Click Save.
