Flex Appliance 2.0.1 release content
The following list contains the known issues that were fixed and that are now included in this release of Flex Appliance.
During an appliance update, a pop-up message incorrectly stated that the update could automatically stop any running instances.
The following error messages in the Flex Appliance Shell did not always properly indicate the issue that occurred:
"Checking if all the nodes in the appliances are upgraded : Failed"
"Running commit-precheck plug-ins : Failed"
"Failed to commit upgrade. Run the command 'system restart' and retry the commit operation."
These messages appeared if you attempted to commit when no upgrade was pending. The messaging has been enhanced to provide more accurate information.
After you upgraded an appliance or configured a new appliance, the system hardware-errors command showed that the RAID Information and the Disk Information were Not Found. If you experience this issue, wait more than 24 hours and try again.
If you ran any of the system hardware-health commands in the Flex Appliance Shell immediately after starting or restarting the appliance, the following error message displayed:
Unable to retrieve hardware information.
If you selected and then deselected an instance in the Application instances section, the instance operation buttons remained enabled. If you clicked on any of these operations when no instance was selected, the operation ran on the most recently selected instance.
When you added a file to the repository, the memory usage of the appliance infrastructure service increased from 100 MB to 10 GB.
Depending on the current activity of your application instances, the System topology page took up to a few minutes to load completely.
