About appliance rollback
You can roll back your appliance to an existing restore checkpoint using theNetBackup Appliance Web Console, or the NetBackup Appliance Shell Menu. This ability enables you to address any mis-configuration or system failure issues that may have occurred.
To roll back your appliance using the NetBackup Appliance Web Console, open the Manage > Appliance Restore page and select . If no checkpoints exist, a message stating that no checkpoints exist appears on the page. You can return to the Manage > Appliance Restore page and select and create a user-directed checkpoint.
If checkpoints already exist, they are shown in the Rollback Appliance page.

Action icons | The Preview icon provides you with the ability to preview the appliance(s) to ensure that a rollback operation can proceed. If an appliance is not up and running, a message appears that identifies the appliance, so that you can make any necessary adjustments. The Preview icon cancels the rollback operation. |
