- Getting help
Cinder volume may fail to attach to the instance
The Cinder volume fails to attach to the instance as the _/lib/udev/scsi_id --page 0x83 --whitelisted /dev/disk/by-path/ip-10.182.97.58:3260-iscsi-iqn.2018-02.com.veritas:target02-lun-4_ command returns an error.
Workaround:
Check the Cinder logs. If the volume attach has failed and you get an error that _ scsi_id: cannot open /dev/disk/by-path/ip-10.182.97.58:3260-iscsi-iqn.2018-02.com.veritas:target02-lun-4: No such device or address_ , then delete that volume. Create a new volume and try to attach the volume.
