Compatible versions of the FSA Agent and Enterprise Vault server
The Enterprise Vault 12.3 version of the FSA Agent supports File System Archiving from Windows file servers that run Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 or later.
Note that the Enterprise Vault 11.0 and 11.0.1 versions of FSA Agent support archiving from Windows Server 2008 R2 or earlier. These versions of the FSA Agent are compatible with Enterprise Vault 12.3, so you can continue to archive from these servers after you upgrade to Enterprise Vault 12.3. However, if you remove the servers as archiving targets, you cannot add them back again.
Enterprise Vault 12.3 does not support File Blocking. If you are upgrading from Enterprise Vault 12.1 or earlier, the upgrade process removes the Enterprise Vault File Blocking service from the file server.
