Veritas named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving

I’m very excited to share that Veritas was named a Leader for the 15th time* in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving.

I have worked on Enterprise Vault and the Digital Compliance portfolio since 2006 and I have never been prouder of what we have accomplished and more optimistic about the future.  We have an amazing PM and Engineering team allowing faster execution than ever before. Our company leadership believes in our vision and supports it with aggressive investment in the expanding team.

We believe recognition in Gartner acknowledges our staying power and continued innovation across the Digital Compliance portfolio.  For almost 25 years, Enterprise Vault has stood the test of time and evolved to meet the changing needs of our customers and partners. 

Over the last year, we listened, we learned, and we executed the feedback we received from customers and analysts. This led to an increased focus on cloud while maintaining strong investment in flexible deployment options including on-premises, customer tenant, and hybrid.  We have successfully closed all gaps with competition through the recent Globanet acquisition and through sheer engineering and integration excellence. Merge1’s content collection capabilities are now fully integrated within Enterprise Vault and EV.cloud, allowing our customers to capture and archive data from over 120 sources. 

We believe the 2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving recognition acknowledges the renewed focus on the Digital Compliance portfolio as evidenced by the following recent highlights:

• Release of Veritas Advanced Supervision client for EV and EV.c customers in 2020
• Release of Veritas Advanced Discovery client in June 2021 providing end-to-end SaaS eDiscovery with integrated Merge1 content collection via Journaling or Targeted collection
• Refresh & Modernization of the EV.cloud UI
• Rapid progression in our classification engine expanding to over 1000 patterns and 200 policies as well as new features like sentiment analysis.
• Subsidized migrations for EV customers wishing to move to EV.cloud driving many successful transitions.
• Optimized deployment of Enterprise Vault in AWS and Azure via native cloud services to ease deployment within a customer’s tenant
• Continued expansion of content sources that can be captured including new and updated connectors including Slack, WebEx Teams, Bloomberg, Symphony, Zoom, SMS, YouTube, We Chat, WhatsApp, and full support for the new Microsoft Teams Export/Graph API.

We feel this latest recognition by Gartner reinforces our commitment as we continue to deliver complete, end-to-end compliance and eDiscovery solutions for on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
