Update for Backup Exec 21.x to 21.4

New features/enhancements are included in this release 

• OpenStorage (OST) Object Lock with support for WORM Media
• Performance enhancements with VMware asynchronous reads
• New alerts and enforcement for Instance-based licensing

• Unable to create the Catalog Items. Unknown reason: 00000057. (100032372)
• Catalog processing is slow for GRT enabled Virtual Machine Backup set post upgrade to Backup Exec 21.2. (100051020)
• Unable to upgrade to Backup Exec 21 when using local language SQL instances. (100048619)
• Job Log reports a Connection Error against the wrong Hyper-V guest, if it is shut down. (100048859)
• When using 128-bit AES encryption, SDR completes recovery successfully but no data is restored. (100050700)
• Backup of a Hyper-V VM hangs and remains in running state without any byte count. (100048238)
• V-79-57344-34028 Backup to HPE StoreOnce OST fails when Backup Exec is patched to 21.3. (100051403)
• Following successful SharePoint backup & catalog, unable to restore item back to Farm or Share. Error 0xe0000373 - Failed to create the list item.
• SharePoint 2019 - GRT restore fails with 0xe00003d3 - Backup Exec cannot enumerate the objects from the SharePoint database.
• Dedupe spoold process crash while idle within an hour after the Backup Exec and Dedupe services are started.
• Warning and error showing up in configuration task due to space available in Tapes. The amount of free space has reached the warning threshold on the storage device <Robotic Library Name>.

Prerequisites

• Administrative privileges are required to install this Feature Pack. 
• Backup Exec 21.0,  21.1, 21.2, 21.2 R2 or 21.3
• Execute the Installation or patch update logged on as the Backup Exec Service Account or a member of the Administrator group with rights to the SQL instance.

Post requisites

• A full backup is recommended after installing this Feature Pack.
• Remote Agent for Windows Servers will need to be updated after installing this Feature Pack.
• Remote Agent for Linux/Unix Servers (RALUS/RAMS) will need to be updated after installing this Feature Pack.  
• Update SDR media.
• Veritas recommends to reboot the system(s) after applying a Hotfix or Feature Pack.
