Capacity and time-period-based licensing model
In this release, Veritas has introduced the Per-TB licensing model for Veritas Access. The Per-TB licensing model is based on both capacity and time period. You can license Veritas Access as per your requirement for the raw capacity. You can manage this license model through the Veritas Access software.
In addition to the base license, you can also procure an add-on license to use the Veritas Data Deduplication service. The deduplication functionality is licensed separately and is generated based on your requirement.
See the Veritas Access Installation Guide for more details on licensing.
