Steps for setting up the Enterprise Vault Analytics Connector

Step 1

Check that the prerequisites are fulfilled.

See Prerequisite software and settings.

Step 2

Create the output folder for the connector, and set up the third party application to retrieve and manage the files in the folder.

Step 3

Create the configuration file, CrawlerPluginsSettings.xml, and add the configuration details for all the Analytics Connector instances in the Enterprise Vault site.

The configuration file will already exist if you have implemented a customized version of the Analytics Connector, such as TrustSphere Relationship Analytics Connector.

Step 4

Check that all of the Analytics Connector files and settings are in place, and restart the Storage service on all Enterprise Vault servers in the site.
