The following features highlight the mechanism of Application Mobility Service for the execution of data migration and the new cluster deployment:
Target configuration: Facilitates the provision of cloud resources and configures InfoScale cluster-related storage and availability objects.
New deployment: Helps existing InfoScale customers as well as non-InfoScale customers to deploy a new resilient cluster in the cloud along with CPS-based fencing configuration.
Application discovery: Helps discover applications, clusters running in the source environment, and their configurations.
Data migration: Migrates application data on Veritas file system (VxFS) from the source cluster to the target cloud cluster.
Application switchover: Facilitates offlining an application on the source cluster and online it on the newly created target cluster.
Post-migration operation: Provides the ability to detach the source cluster from the target cluster.
