Senior Vice President, Corporate Operations
Jane Zhu serves as SVP, Corporate Operations. In this role, Jane is responsible for leading a combined organization that includes IT, Facilities, Finance, Analytics, and Program Management functions.
Jane is a strong technologist and leader and has excelled at building and nurturing strong teams. She joined Veritas in 2017 and led the Data Protection and Governance Engineering team through multiple significant product releases during her tenure in the role. She has more than 20 years of experience leading engineering organizations to build enterprise products/solutions in the areas of data protection, big data management and analytics, database security, application life cycle management, middleware, and network application monitoring.
Jane joined Veritas from Dell EMC, where she was vice president of the Data Protection Software Group and general manager for Mozy Business Unit. Before joining EMC, Jane served as vice president of Engineering for TIBCO Software, where she was responsible for Security Information and Event Management product portfolios. Prior to that, she held executive engineering positions at IPLocks (acquired by Fortinet) and Borland.
Jane holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, as well as a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research from Kansas State University.
