Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
David Staffanson is Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Veritas.
In this role, David is responsible for leading Veritas’s global HR organization, including HR Business Partners, learning and development, communications, compensation, benefits, employee relations and HR operations.
As a professional with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, David’s focus is on impacting business results through strategy, talent and a diverse culture. His areas of expertise include developing talent, building high-performance teams and influencing culture change.
Prior to joining Veritas, David was Vice President of Human Resources at Varian Medical Systems and spent 15 years at General Electric, including Vice President, Human Resources at GE Surgery.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in International Development and a master’s degree in Organizational Behavior, both from Brigham Young University, and is fluent in Spanish.
