Supported update paths to this release

Note:

You cannot perform a fresh installation of this release on Veritas 5340 and 5150 appliances. You must update these appliances from version 2.0 to get to this release. You can perform a fresh installation of this release on the new Veritas 5350 and 5250 appliances.

The following describes the supported update paths to Flex Appliance version 2.0.1:

  • Direct update path

    You can update directly from version 2.0 to version 2.0.1.

  • Two-step upgrade and update path

    Any appliance running a version earlier than 2.0 must first be upgraded to version 2.0. If you have a multi-node appliance, upgrade both nodes to version 2.0 before you update to version 2.0.1.
