NetBackup status code: 503
Explanation: For UNIX host logon, the NetBackup Java application server on the host where the logon is requested does not recognize the user name.
For Windows host logon, the NetBackup Java authentication service on the host where the logon is requested does not have sufficient privileges to grant the request.
Recommended Action: Do the following, as appropriate:
For UNIX hosts: the user name must be a valid user name in the
passwd
file on the host that is specified in the logon dialog box.For Windows hosts: refer to the LogonUser function in the section titled Client/Server Access Control Functions of the Windows Platform Software Developer's Kit to determine the required privileges.
