NetBackup status code: 9863
Explanation: The following can cause this issue:
Incorrect permissions to add certificates to NetBackup certificate store (
/usr/openv/var/global/cloudpoint
).Certificate parsing failed.
NetBackup service user does not own the NetBackup certificate store (
/usr/openv/var/global/cloudpoint
) and so the user does not have permissions for this path.
Recommended Action: Try one of the following as appropriate:
Confirm the correct permissions for the NetBackup certificate store (
/usr/openv/var/global/cloudpoint
).Check the format of CloudPoint server certificate using the /config/snapshot-mgmt-servers-cacerts/{snapshotMgmtServer}/ports/{port} API.
Only
pem
format is supported.Add or modify the CloudPoint server configuration using the tpconfig command. Run the tpconfig command as a root user. This action re-assigns the ownership of the root certificate path or the certificate file to the NetBackup service user.
