NetBackup status code: 8313
Explanation: The backup image that is used for restore has the data-in-transit encryption (DTE mode) enabled but the DTE setting is disabled on the client. As a result of this issue restore fails.
Recommended Action: Perform one of the following as appropriate:
If data-in-transit is to be enforced for the client, then enable data-in-transit encryption for that client by setting the DTE_CLIENT_MODE option in the
bp.conf
configuration file to On.If data-in-transit is to be off for the particular client then change the data-in-transit encryption (DTE) mode of the backup image to Off using the following command:
bpimage -update -image_dtemode Off -id <backup_id>
Set DTE_IGNORE_IMAGE_MODE = ALWAYS in the NetBackup configuration file of the primary server.
For option 2 and option 3, DTE is disabled while the job is performed.
For more information, refer to the Configuring data-in-transit encryption section in the NetBackup Security and Encryption Guide.
