Overview of connectors
The procedure for adding connectors is outlined as follows:
In this step, you must set basic information such as the name, storage location to store the backed-up data and other settings.
In this step, you need to specify which items to back up, select between backing up all or specific ones, and set filters to restrict the backup scope to particular users and folders.
In this step, you must manually enter the credentials using the client ID and secret generated during the app addition to your Azure tenant. Alternatively, you can use the M365 apps added by Veritas Alta SaaS Protection and grant Admin consent for these apps.
In this step, you are required to configure the backup policies. For applications like SharePoint Online, this includes configuring Stub and Delete policies for data archiving at the source SharePoint Online environment.
In this step, you need to set the backup schedule.
In this step, you must review the configuration and save or initiate the backup.
