Storage devices: CIFS/SMB
The following table shows Enterprise Vault support for primary storage devices using access over the CIFS/SMB protocol.

- Select "Dell EMC Celerra Unified Storage Platforms" in the Enterprise Vault Administration Console while creating a partition.
- The Enterprise Vault PST Locator task does not find PST files on a Dell EMC Celerra or VNX Series device.

- Forever (Infinite) retention policy is not supported by storage; you must use specific date to define retention. Refer to the storage documentation for the maximum retention date supported, or contact the storage vendor for more details.
