Product and branding changes since Enterprise Vault 15.2
Beginning with Enterprise Vault 15.2, several product and component names have been rebranded to align with Arctera's new corporate identity. These changes include both organizational branding and product renaming. Customers upgrading from earlier versions should be aware that product names referenced in older documentation, interfaces, or scripts may now appear under their new Arctera branding.
Key changes include:
Veritas → Arctera
Veritas Enterprise Vault → Arctera Enterprise Vault
Discovery Accelerator → eDiscovery
Compliance Accelerator → Surveillance
Veritas Information Classifier → Arctera Insight Classification
Custodian Manager → Insight eDiscovery Custodian Manager
Veritas Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager → Arctera Insight eDiscovery Manager
Accelerator Manager → eDiscovery Manager
Because of these rebranding changes, certain updates will also occur in URL links, URL names, and cross-references across Enterprise Vault product documentation. These updates will be reflected in subsequent versions of the Enterprise Vault Compatibility Charts, ensuring alignment with the new Arctera naming convention. Customers should expect older URLs or cross-references using the Veritas naming to be replaced with Arctera in the future.
