Filtering folders
When you configure the capture scope for a connector, you can limit the backup scope to specific folders in the source workload. The folders are filtered based on matching the folder tree by an exact match, a wildcard, or a regular expression.
To filter folders
- In the Folder Filters section, click Enable this feature.
- Click + Add Folder Filter.
- On the Folder Filter Properties page, do any of the following:

Select Include.
In the Pattern Type box, enter the item using wild card or regular expression type.
Click Add.
The connector backs up the included folders.
Select Exclude.
In the Pattern Type box, enter the item using wild card or regular expression type.
Click Add.
The connector excludes the folder from the backup.
The Move Up and Move Down options let you move the filters in the list. You can remove the selected filters using the Remove option.
