Focusing on employee and community engagement.

Engaging with people in and around our business not only makes Veritas the company it is, but helps reduce employee turnover, boost productivity and efficiency, and improve customer service and retention.

We strive to attract new and diverse talent. Our training and development processes, community engagement practices, and DEI priorities all support this mission.

The Veritas Learning and Development team provides training opportunities for all employees. An assessment framework helps leaders facilitate and guide talent calibration and planning.

Furthering diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Attracting, developing, promoting, retaining, and fully engaging a diverse and talented workforce is a fundamental part of how we do business. It’s not only an ethical approach — diversity is a key driver of creativity and invention. We have a duty to embody and promote these values to remain at the forefront of our industry.

Our work environment embraces every culture, language, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and background. We give every individual a voice. Our goal is to continuously nurture a place where all employees feel valued and respected for their individual differences and unique perspectives.

Prioritizing supplier diversity.

We value diversity both within Veritas and among our suppliers. A diverse supply chain is just one way we provide value to customers and foster economic growth in the communities they serve. Our supplier diversity categories include small, disadvantaged businesses; women, minority, veteran, and LGBTQIA+–owned businesses; historically Black colleges, universities, and minority institutions; and Alaskan Native corporations, among others.

Our program helps us identify opportunities for the continued growth of our suppliers, and to ensure that we are aligned in our DEI efforts.

Upholding labor practices.

We uphold all commonly accepted labor standards in the workplace, including compliance with labor laws and internationally accepted norms and standards.

This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring basic human rights related to child labor; forced or bonded labor; exploitative labor; fair wages and overtime pay; and other basic workers’ rights. It also includes minimum-wage policies and the provision of benefits, which may influence the attraction, retention, and motivation of the workforce.

Veritas is an equal opportunity employer and bases employment decisions on merit, experience, and potential, without regard to race, gender identity, national origin, religion, physical or mental disability, or age. We are committed to maintaining a work environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and all other forms of labor violations.
